A Chobe safari
Chobe National Park is the closest wildlife reserve to Victoria Falls. At only one hour by road it has become very popular with visitors wanting a safari experience close to Victoria Falls. Chobe is renown for its massive elephant herds and the sight of the huge breeding herds feeding and bathing in the Chobe River is what Chobe is best known for.

Owner run and managed Muchenje Safari Lodge has a wonderful vista of the Chobe floodplain. Its unique position means that the lodge offers peace and tranquillity in an area of the park that is rarely visited by other people.

- Muchenje lies in a private concession, allowing guests to enjoy day as well as night game drives.
- There are 11 thatched chalets which all have commanding views of the Chobe River and floodplain
- In- room facilities include large en suite bathrooms, celing fan, electric safe and undercover verandahs.
- The large comfortable main area including the dining area, bar and lounge areas has been created to make maximum use of the views.

- Activities include Chobe River cruises in the private Muchenje boat, day and night game drives in open safari vehicles that have been modified for guests comfort, bush walks and village tours.
- Children of 8 years and over are welcome. Muchenje has one family unit that sleeps up to 4 people: there is a double bed and full bathroom downstairs while an upstairs loft area has 2 single beds.
